hi. IĈm SPC ( thatĈs short for Specialist ) Fish of the US Army and my character name is SPC fish ( yeah, I know. real original. )
IĈm looking for a group because this whole lone wolf thing is really boring me ( just not enough fun involved in talking to yourself ) so IĈm looking for one of these so called "corporations" to join. only problem is, I know nothing about them. something about players join these groups and a portion of their money ( ratio set by corporation leaders I think ) goes to the corporation budget and everybody gets paid a set salary or something like that. like I said, I donĈt know how it all works
all I know is its boring being the only spaceship within a million miles all the time and IĈm looking for some sort of group to join. now, I have no expectations or desires towards any form of group what so ever ( my drill sergeants always said "expectations are the seeds of disappointment" )
so instead, I will put up information about myself.
first, IĈm new. less than a month in game, not even a quarter million skill points, almost a million ISK. IĈm no veteran to the game, I haven't been playing for a while and I boast no awesome 1337 r0x0r your 50x0r 5ki11z. IĈm new to the game and starting off is a *****.
speaking of which, like I said. I have less than a million ISK, so IĈm not the most profitable of persons. I do perform various task, my current financial goals are to save up a couple million so that I might buy a 5K m^3 + cargo holding industrial ship ( and the training doctrine to operate it ) so that I can perform more efficient cargo hauls for the rare instances when which I mine. my primary ship is a minmatar destroyer ( I think there was only one of them ) loaded with two howitzers and an assortment of ammo for various tactical purposes.
as far as the game, I like the shooting thing. that works. not much fun in sitting around doing nothing ( I do enough of that at work ) so just as long as I get my CAB ( Combat Action Badge for all you civilian types out there ) I suppose IĈm happy.
my character has no molded form to his abilities right now. from the creation I went away from specialization and toward options, so I have an array of low ( as in no higher than 1 ) level skills with few that are a little beefed up ( IĈm currently going on learning level 5, and I know now that level 5 is not worth the trouble -_-;; ). the intent of which is that I can be flexible to meet any demands or mission set forth.
there are several things I have yet to try but haven't a clue as to where to start. mining I only know the basics, I know nothing of building, nothing of research, nothing of drones and scouting and probing or any of the various other things IĈd like to try. right now all I know is lock target, orbit distance, shoot.
as far as people who are more interested in social interaction. keep in mind IĈm not the most available person. IĈm in Baghdad right now, so the time zones are a little off. I work the night shift which lets me off work at midnight, at which point I usually have about four or five hours of solid internet connection with which I can play the game. after that, IĈm done for the next 24 hours or so. so I donĈt have much time to troll around and wait ( for those of you curious I operate in a +3 Zulu time zone [ 0000-0600 roughly ] ). so it'd be nice if I could find a corp. that operates primarily within these hours. I currently don't have Teamspeak or any form of voice communication, but I do have Trillian ( yahoo, msn, AIM ) and Xfire. as well as AKO ( Army Knowledge Online [ army issued email account ] ) and Gmail. IĈm always open for conversation ( after all, IĈm looking for corps because I think the game is lacking human interaction for an MMO )
there's not a whole lot more to be said about me. IĈm not addicted to this game. IĈm just sort of here to have fun
now, for the final kicker. any suggestions for a good corp. to join? ( if any are willing )
